TLC has been running for 5+ years, it is a group designed for girls that find themselves struggling with confidence, or need a group to discuss their day to day happenings.

Our activities throughout our sessions focus on Trust, Leadership, and Confidence. Our aim is to help shape your child into the best possible person they can be. The girls will partake in activities such as art, baking/cooking skills, sport, ice breaker games, speech skills, team building skills, role play, and group chats.

We discuss intimate subjects that the girls may feel unable to discuss with family members such as puberty, divorce, step siblings, co-parenting, school issues, body issues, friend issues, bullying and any other day to day problems they feel need to be discussed. We believe that the group chats are vital within the group as it is a time to share their thoughts and feelings and understand that they may not be the only one in the group feeling that way, or dealing with that specific thing.

Over the years we have experienced some amazing things. We have watched shy, quiet girls, get into speech finales. Girls that constantly argue with their parents, find a happy medium. We are in no way councillors, we are just there to aid the girls and give them a safe environment to feel themselves in. We feel this programme strives as we not only have a fantastic relationship with the girls, but with their parents too!

Overall we want TLC to be a safe, fun happy place, there are tears sometimes when talking about personal things or pushing the girls out of their comfort zone, but there are definitely more smiles.

The staff that are there on the night are solely volunteers who do not get paid. The cost per term goes towards the food and resources and the rest is put aside for a fun end of year party for the girls

If you are signing your daughter into our programme we ask that they do their very best to attend each and every week.
